METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE

MSM is one of nature's richest sources of sulfur. MSM must not be confused with sulfa-based drugs, sulfates, or sulfites, which are synthetic and have been recognized to cause allergic and other adverse reactions. DMSO2 is one more name for MSM. It is the main metabolite of DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide), a naturally occurring sulfur compound known for its potent pain-reduction and anti-inflammatory properties. Anyone recognizable with DMSO knows is aware of its very unpleasant odor. MSM does not make this odor and is very much preferred over DMSO.
